The weekly class schedule at JoAnn Fryrear School of Dance gives families a clear picture of how each week unfolds inside the Louisville studio. Ballet, tap, jazz, modern, creative movement, and hip hop each occupy their own recurring slot, so dancers and parents can plan ahead around school, work, and other commitments. Because this is a family-owned school, the schedule stays organized around real family routines rather than abstract programming blocks.

Not every dancer can always be in the room for every class, and the schedule reflects that reality by pairing in-person studio sessions with live Zoom options for selected styles. Families who travel, live farther out, or need to miss a week for illness can still keep their dancer engaged with the same teachers and same curriculum. The schedule page frames the Zoom route as an equal alternative rather than a lesser substitute.

Each class listed is held at the school on Shelbyville Road in Louisville, and the schedule table is intended as a starting point rather than a fixed, unchangeable grid. Families whose available hours do not line up with a listed slot are encouraged to reach out and ask about openings or possible adjustments. Flexible scheduling is common in family-run studios, where teachers often build a class around the needs of the dancers enrolled.

Style and age group information lives on a separate classes page, which is worth visiting before reading the schedule closely. Younger dancers typically work in creative movement and introductory ballet or tap, while older students progress into jazz, modern, and hip hop as their skills develop. Understanding which styles suit which ages helps families choose wisely and set realistic expectations for what a first season in the studio might look like.

Throughout the year, the schedule intersects with studio events such as recitals and seasonal performances, and teachers often build toward those moments in class. Regular attendance is the simplest way to make steady progress, and the studio publishes notes, news, and weekly updates so families stay informed about changes, closings, or performance dates. Staying current with those messages keeps the whole family in step with the school community.
